This is the hop bill for this version of PP. From beginning to end 11 oz. of hops are added to make this beer extremely hoppy!
This is a look at the spent grains used in PP. I used 19 pounds of grains to bring the ABV of this beer to between 8.5 and 9%.
Here are some pictures during the boil of hop additions. As you can see it gets pretty crowded in there!
And there you have it a final version of Palate Pulverizor. Looks gross now but in about 2 months it'll be drinking good at over 100 IBU
WHO'S READY FOR NEW YEARS EVE!!!
Back Right Corner - Kremlin Joe's Russian Imperial Stout Batch #2 - 10%
Back Left Corner - WarChild Quadruple - 9.5%
Front Right Corner - Emma Rose Abbey Ale - 7.5%
Front Left Corner - Palate Pulverizor DIPA - too early to tell ~8.5%
Still got a few other goodies up my sleeve for the New Year, but I guess you'll have to be present at the party to find out about those.
