DAMNIT JANET

Weis Bier

5.0% ABV

Another new beer on tap for St. Patty's. Damnit Janet Weis Bier is an American wheat ale that has been infused with dry apple cider. The resulting beer is dry and tart with a hint of apple character. Should be a good change of pace from all those stouts we'll be drinkin in 3 days!!

EAT MY SHORTS

Butterfinger Stout

7.5% ABV

I told myself a few years back I wasn't going to brew beer specifically for parties and whatever was on tap, was what would be available to drink. I break this rule every year for St. Patty's. I mean what would St. Patricks Day be without a creamy stout flowing. The first year we had the party it was a mint stout, then it was a banana n' cream stout, last year it was a hazelnut stout. This year its time to EAT MY SHORTS and drink a stout with a ton of butterfinger candy bars infused into it. In the past I've always tried to keep the ABV on these stouts limited, but when you add 5 pounds of chocolate and peanut butter to a beer......its kinda difficult. So basically, this is a big, bold stout with a ton of peanut butter flavor (its actually amazing how little of butterfinger is chocolate). Like any flavored stout the good taste will only last for so long, so if your coming to the party on the 17th.....DRINK LOTS!!! Also, we will be pouring Irish Car Bombs with the stout. It will be called a Simpsons Did It!!

MATTEO

American Saison

6.0% ABV

New on tap is Matteo an American interpretation of a French Saison. This is a spiced up American version that is refermented with wild yeast. It was suppose to be the next in the sour beer series, but this beer is not sour or funky.....needs longer for that....its definitely unique though.

THE WIZARD OF AZ
Imperial Munich Porter

7.75% ABV

We are certainly not in Kansas anymore. Go big or go home, new on tap this week is The Wizard of Az. This is an Imperial Porter using entirely munich malt as a base for the beer which makes it very malty and rich. This was the base beer for Azreal which was a maple porter. When we brewed it the first time, the beer was amazing on its own and I kinda felt that the maple syrup made the beer a litte to sweet. DO OVER!! COME GET IT!!!

Curiously Ambiguous

Black IPA

7.5% ABV

It's getting about to the time of year where dark beers die out and are replaced by crisp hoppy pale ales and IPA's.....or wheat beers. So what have we done? Well we went ahead and brewed 4 new dark beers to go on tap.....bump the norm!!! First up is a hybrid style....Curiously Ambiguous Black IPA. As the name would suggest this beer can't figure out what it wants to be. Half IPA Half Stout.....all good.....

Walk of Shame Pilsner

4.75% ABV

New on tap this week is Walk of Shame.....I'm planning to get my beer game fix on New Years Eve and I needed to create something that would fit that. I think I did too good of a job with this beer. Essential, this beer tastes like (insert domestic crap beer name here). But, its low alcohol and should be perfect for the purpose I have in store for it.

GAME ON!!!

HindSight #2
Wild Ale
7.0% ABV

Now on tap for the holiday season is HindSight #2. The HindSight series is basically my attempt to cover up beers that suck. The base beer for this HindSight is One in the Chamber, which was a Belgian Dubbel that I made a little under a year that had date sugar, licorice root and rose hips in it. Needless to say, the beer fell a little flat and wasn't getting drank. So I took it off tap and added two varieties of wild yeast to it and then re fermented it with tart cherries.....and there ya have it. HindSight #2, less of a sour and more of a tart fruit ale. Hopefully it will be received a little better than One in the Chamber.

Cheers!!
